Day 01: Delhi :
Late night arrival in Delhi and be met by our representative at the airport
welcoming you to India with fresh flower garlands. Transfer to the hotel
for immediate occupancy of the rooms already reserved for you.
Day 2 : Delhi
ToDay explore the city of Delhi visiting Red Fort and thereafter a rickshaw
drive up to Jama Masjid through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk. Thereafter
continue to visit India Gate and Government buildings, Humayuns
Tomb and Qutab Minar. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3 : Agra
Early morning drive from Delhi to Agra (210 kms 5 hrs) stopping enroute
to visit Sikandra - the tomb of the Great Mughal emperor Akbar. On reaching
Agra, visit the Agra Fort with its exquisitely rich palaces and the magnificent
Taj Mahal-about which legion of tributes have been written. Overnight
in Agra after a hectic and most satisfying tour of Agra.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Enroute to Jaipur (240 kms 6 hours) from Agra, you will visit Fatehpur
Sikri a palace complex and housing the famous Buland Darwaza. On the way
a brief stop over at Bharatpur bird sanctuary breeding ground for Siberian
crane during season. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur
In the morning drive to the Fort of Amer about 11 kms from Jaipur. The
fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture stunningly situated on
a hilltop and over looking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts.
A joyful and adventurous ride on a elephant back up to the ramparts. The
other half of the Day is spent in a visit around the pink city visiting
the great City
Palace with its majestic grounds, the famous 18th century
Observatory and Hawa Mahal (palace of winds). Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 : Ajmer
In the morning drive from Jaipur to Ajmer (131 kms 2.5 hrs) On arrival
you are taken on a tour of the city Ajmer including the Dargah - the tomb
of a sufi saint Khwaza Muiniddin Chisti and Adhai Din Ka Jhopra named
so because the construction took only two and a half Days. In the afternoon
you are taken to the holy Pushkar where you can visit the renowned Brahma
temple on the bank of the Pushkar lake and also you can see the Pushkar
fair grounds famous for the Annual fair being held every year in the month
of November. Overnight in Ajmer.
Day 7 : Chittourgarh -Udaipur
ToDay again a long drive from Ajmer to Chittaurgarh (187 kms 5 hrs). Visit
the grand Fort of Chittaur epitomizing the romance of Rajput Chivalry.
Thereafter proceed for Udaipur (113 kms 2.5 hrs). Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 8 - : Eklingi, Nanda -Udaipur
In the morning a short excursion to Eklingi & Nagda.( 25 kms). Eklingi
is the temple of Shiva with its pyramidical roof and four faced shiva
image. The temple was family temple of the ruling kings of Mewar. At Nagda
the Sas Bahu temple and the Jain temples present beautiful architecture.
Afternoon is spent for a tour Udaipur city visiting the Palace and Jagdish
temple. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 9 - : Ranakpur, Mount Abu
In the morning leave for Ranakpur (90 kms 2 hrs). In Ranakpur you visit
the exquisite architectural Jain temples amidst the peaceful Aravalli
range. Then continue your journey to Mt. Abu (130 kms 3.5 hrs). Overnight
in Mt. Abu.
Day 10 : Mount Abu
ToDay relaxingly enjoy the beauty of Mt. Abu situated at 1200 ft. the
only hill station of Rajasthan. Visit the most beautiful and artistic
Jain temples called as Dilwara. During the Day walk to the Nakki lake
and in the evening have marvellous vi
ew of the sunset from the Aravalli
range. Overnight in Mt. Abu.
Day 11 : Jodhpur
Continue today on a journey to Jodhpur (260 kms 7hrs) reaching there by
noon. In the evening visit the massive Jodhpur Fort and a short walk in
the bylanes of Jodhpur. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 12 : Jaisalmer
Early morning departure for Jaisalmer (275 kms 7 hrs). In the evening
visit the sunset point on camel back and witness the most spectacular
sun set with gold all around reflecting on the ramparts and atop terraces.
Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 13 : Jaisalmer
Morning tour of city. Jaisalmer is a place to simply wander and get lost.
It is a small place totally unspoiled and very remote. Evening at leisure.
Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 14 : Bikaner
Early morning departure for Bikaner ( 315 kms 8 hrs) and reaching by noon.
Afternoon city tour including a visit to the spectacular palace. Overnight
in Bikaner.
Day 15 : Mandawa
Early morning departure for Mandawa (200 kms 5 hrs). Afternoon visit the
Havelis with richly painted frescoes which speak of rich cultural heritage.
Overnight in Mandawa.
Day 16 : Delhi
Return journey by road from Mandawa to Delhi (240 kms 6 hrs) reaching the
international airport to connect onward international flight.
